More shopping...

So the sales have been insane.  Insanely awesome that is.  Will need to start staying away from the mall as the stores literally seem to be saying "Here.  Please take this off our hands.  We are tired of looking at it on the hanger."

My parents have now furnished their entire closet with wooden hangers from Eddie Bauer - at only 10 cents each.  We've got 70 of them and it looks awesome.  Was hoping to get more from Talbots since they are closing, but they're not selling their wooden ones :(  Just plastic ones.  So silly to be so in love with wooden hangers, but they are truly just so cool!!

I called Talbots and they said they'd have hangers so Madi and I went to the mall to see.  Unfortunately I didn't realize they meant plastic ones and it never occurred to me to ask.  My bad.  But everything in the store is an extra 80% off the lowest price.  Seriously just giving clothes away.  So I got an 80 cent pair of tights, $1 tshirt that was originally $30 and $99 jeans for $8. Plus a cute sweater that was originally $80 and was only $6.  Plus a few other shirts.  Total spent - $42.  Total if paid in full price - over $450!   Just very excited about the deals.

Madi and I walked into Gap Kids because they still had another 40% off clearance.  I'd been in on Monday, but they'd already marked things down again.  So we got Madi and Riley each a dress.  Quite fancy.  Bought it a size big as it'll be best for Christmas next year.  Originally $50 each and we got them for $6 each after tax.  Will post pic soon.

Has been an amazing bargain shopping week.  Now coming to an end because I need to find some self control :)

Madi has had a great start to the week.  Really found her groove as far as getting things done, being responsible.  The check off lists are a huge help for all of us.  No hounding on our part or having to remind.  She is used to using it and getting close to not needing it anymore.  Mornings are super smooth for her and school is going well.  She's been playing with a few other friends at recess which is great.  Annaliese is still involved, but Madi has been talking about other girls and that is really good!

Was funny because Madi was sooo confused as to what day it is today.  Three day weekend threw us all off.  She started Zumba again today.  Loved it!  She'll have it every Wednesday for the next 7 weeks.

Tomorrow is LEAP.  Thursdays are her favorite day because she is in LEAP all day long.  Has been really great for her.
