Jordan

The girls had a great day again.  We took a walk down to the park so I could show Madi how to get there and it gave the girls time to get outside before it was much too hot.  I didn't let Madi ride her bike because I knew Riley would be chasing after her and that I wouldn't be able to push a stroller and keep up with the two of them.  So we all walked.  After they played at the park, we took the "long" way home (about ten extra minutes longer) as Madi wanted to see how to get home if she rode her bike that way instead of the way we had taken to get to the park.

The girls took showers after they talked to you guys.  Madi loved the conversation.  The hardest part is when she has to say goodbye.  She tells me every time that she loves seeing you, but it's hard to leave you and say goodbye.  She studied for 30 minutes today - English today - reading and answering questions.  She did fabulous on the examples today!  30 questions, 2 wrong and 1 she wasn't sure what they were asking.  We're starting with 30 minutes of studying and she's always welcome to do more.  Doesn't want to at this moment in time, but we'll build up to a longer time as the summer goes on.

Jordan just got her head stuck under Madi's bed.  They love to hide under there during the hide and seek games.  Thankfully, she's all fine.

Girls had a ton of fun at the Hartley's house (home of Jordan, Peyton, Amy, Morgan and Mackenzie - five girls that are just awesome).  They spent about 4 hours there.  I had time out with Julia for the time they were there and it was super nice.  Kim (the mom) said the girls were very respectful and very nice.

Jeremy just finished making salmon and fettuccine for the girls.  They're super excited for tonight.

So here's to our first sleepover at the house.  So far tons of laughter, giggling and smiling girls.  Jordan's pants have already fallen down twice and Madi is laughing hysterically.  Gotta go.... time for dinner for the girls!  Wish us luck for making tonight very special and the morning as well...  hoping Madi will really love this night!
