Hot, Hot, Hot

It was a hot day today.  Or at least, hot by our standards.  99 degrees.  Madison and Riley spent much of the morning playing in their bunker and castle that they have built.  They added some grounds and gates and blankets.  The girls had so much fun.

At nap time for Jules, we spent more time going over multiplication facts.  Jeremy also found an iPad application that helps with cursive writing.  So we'll start learning that soon as students here learned cursive at the end of second grade.  I'm sure she'll catch on quick.

Then we went to my parents' home to go swimming.  Madison is quite the swimmer!!  She and Riley spent two hours in the pool.  Then had a little ice cream.  We went home to have dinner which was Rigatoni.

Now we're hoping she'll get some facetime with you and that'll be it for today!

So glad you're home safely and that you got to hold your boys!

  2. I figured that out...
Madison knows cursive but they called it "Paulinian" writing here and some is a little different.
