Jeremy got a link to Poppi's post about Kindi. Or yours. I know he read your message about Kindi to Madi and he even started to get teary. Jeremy shared the news with me and we both agreed that we needed to tell Madi tonight so there wouldn't be any surprises about it if she checked her facebook account tomorrow.
Madi didn't seem very surprised. She said that Poppi had told her that they would be needing to put Kindi to sleep in the next few weeks. She was quite sad. Handled the news well and cried, but seemed at peace about it. Jeremy talked about how she had cancer and a broken hip and wasn't doing great. So now she's in heaven.
I shared the news with Riley when Jeremy stayed to read to Madi. Riley goes "oh... poor him (referring to Poppi)." Was so sweet and sincere. Then we started talking about how Kindi would be in heaven and not be sick anymore. Riley talked about how she is glad she is in heaven, that she won't see her anymore on earth, but that it's good she's in heaven.
